Personal Training
I am a Café Manager, working around 65 hours per week. My work involves a lot of running around and lifting heavy items such as solid outdoor furniture and stock room boxes each day. I had endured about 5 months of constant lower back pain and was seeing a Chiropractor for a “quick fix” every fortnight or so.
If only I knew then, how easy and exciting it really is, to actually prevent the pain rather than seek a quick, but only temporary cure.
After only a few sessions with Margie, I suddenly realised that I had so much more energy later in the evenings, regardless of being up for work at 5:30am each morning.
Margie’s positive and confident nature instantly made me want to be like that too. “Full of beans”. I was so happy and self-motivated to get back into that amazing boutique Gym again and again.
A couple of months later, people started to tell me I looked slimmer and not like the tired zombie I used to be. My posture became much better and my back pain was almost nonexistent.
Margie has taught me a variety of valuable lessons; from how to activate and utilise my core in every day situations, to making sure I have the correct posture throughout the day, and correct techniques while exercising and lifting weights.
And who would have thought that I….. a 28 year old man would be enjoying “pilates??!!!” (just quietly). I am yet to meet another person so full of life, with a positive spirit and a genuine willingness to help you out WHEREVER you may need it, even outside of fitness….. and Margie does just that.
An amazing, unique person that pushes her way to help you now, not just now…………… NOW, NOW!!!
