Why Use A Swiss Ball?

A Swiss Ball is an exercise tool that can strengthen your whole body without stressing your joints.

You can use a Swiss Ball for a therapeutic seat as well as an exercise tool. These exercises are designed to assist you in both treatment and prevention of back pain. Using a Swiss Ball helps stabilize your spine, improve your posture and at the same time causing the core muscles around the spine to function in a constant micro movement, balancing act. Sit and March Your Legs

Get the feel for balancing on the ball. Take your time slowly lift one leg making sure body is stable on ball. Keeping both but cheeks on ball.

Kneeling

This is a tricky exercise working your abs and lower back (predominately). So make sure back is straight and balance on ball.

Prone Walk Out

Start on knees resting body on ball
make sure body is stabilised and in a straight line keeping ball still.Then proceed to roll gently out on ball making sure body is stabilised hold position for 10 sec then slowly roll back.

Prone Roll Out

Make sure you imprint and use your core when rolling out on the ball. It's a great exercise for stabilizing your body and strengthening your abdominals and upper back.
